  • He graduated from Kasr Al Aini Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in 1961. He finishedhis residency program in the same hospital in 1986. He got his Master degree in 1985and his M.D. degree in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1990. He was appointedProfessor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2000. He received specialty training in RoyalFree University Hospital in London, UK, Ultrasound Institute in Zagreb, Croatia and ThomasJefferson School of Medicine, Philadelphia, USA.
  • His academic leadership and contributions to research, has awarded him national and international recognition in the field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, particularly in the area
    of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology. His contributions have organized the teaching and education of many physicians. Dr. Momtaz notoriety in 3D/4D ultrasound evolved as
    a result of his authorship or co-authorship of over 50 publications in national and internationally circulated publications.
  • He is the president of the Middle East Society of 3D/4D Ultrasound, president of the Par Arab Fetal Medicine Group (PAFMG) and vice president of the Mediterranean Society of
    Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MEDUOG). He is also a member of many international societies and among the review board of many internationally renowned publications.
